Winter is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor- Supervisor and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, certified in EMDR. (Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). Winter has been in the Mental Health field for nearly 20 years.

Winter has begun her journey in college, having an interest in understanding others’ behaviors and emotions. She then felt called to help others and seen the potential in others. Winter has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Missouri Western State University. She then developed her career as a Case Manager in the state of Indiana. Winter has worked in the Mental Health field in a variety of clinical settings: case management for the chronic mental ill; facilitating IOP groups, and drug/alcohol education, as well as working with the DD population.

Winter then furthered her career with earning a Master of Science Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Winter is licensed by the Ohio Counselor Social Worker and Marriage and Family Board as well as the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board. She is certified by EMDRIA and specializes in trauma by utilizing EMDR. Winter is competent in the areas of: Diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders, mental health counseling, individual counseling, group counseling, relational, personal, social, spiritual, faith-based/human growth counseling, career/guidance counseling, chemical dependency counseling, addictions counseling, and bereavement counseling.  Her goal is to help others see their full potential and help them heal from their barriers in life.

Winter resides in the Celina area with her husband, John, and her daughters. She is an active member at Grand Lake United Methodist Church. In her free time she enjoys reading, sewing, gardening, and outdoor activities with her family.
