Julie Krieg, LISW-S
Julie is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision designation from the state of Ohio. She is also a Licensed School Social Worker through the Ohio Department of Education. She’s been working in the mental health field serving individuals and families since 2007. Julie graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and Social Work from Defiance College. She then earned her Masters in Social Work at The Ohio State University. Julie has supervised multiple licensed clinicians and interns in the social work and counseling fields.
Julie has a passion for working with youth and families. She has experience providing counseling in the schools, community, group homes, foster care and outpatient settings. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed care, dialectical behavioral therapy and child center play therapy.
In her free time Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 boys. She enjoys sports, coaching volleyball, hiking and volunteering with Mercer County Special Olympics.
